Micanopy is a very small town between Ocala and Gainesville. Parts of the Michael J. Fox movie "Doc. Holiday" was filmed there. We stopped for lunch at the Coffee and Cream during our visit to the antique shops in MIcanopy. We enjoyed their soup and half sandwich special. We were lucky to order the butternut squash soup before they ran out for the day. The staff was very friendly. Next time, I'll try the ice cream.

Good coffee, didn't try anything else. Nice porch to sit outside and sip your beverage. A perfect place to start off on our walking Micanopy and visiting the antique shops.

Friendly people, great chicken salad, and Shady to greet you! Shady is the cat! Loved it all. One of the few restrooms open to the public. very clean and charming.

This is a delightful little spot in the heart of Micanopy. We had a very pleasant lunch. I highly recommend the chicken and dumplings!

As I said in another review, the one disappointment about the charming little town of Micanopy is the lack of restaurants in the downtown area.
