Great food (especially when surrounded by chains and awful places to eat!!!!). The owner was gracious and welcoming. I loved the food.
On a recent trip to Orlando, myself & my wife decided to give this place a go. What a mistake. We have eaten in Indian restaurants all over the world & can categorically state that this is the worst we have ever been to. The warning signs were there on arrival. At 7:30 pm all other restaurants in the area... More
Really fancied an Indian meal and walked up International Drive and stumbled across the Taj Mahal. It's located on a good part of International Drive, next to Tony Roma's, so thought it couldn't be too bad. How wrong! Meal for 2 came out at different stages, 1 bread missing, the other burnt to a crisp and not fit for human... More
Me and my dad were looking for a curry as break from the burgers, ribs and steaks that everywhere sells. The rest of my family went to tony roma's and we saw this restaurant next to it and thought it was very convinient. We walked in and it was dead, there was nobody there at all, but we decided to... Eat Indian food all the time and this time was just as good. The service was on par. Very enjoyable and would go back again.
We waited an hour for the worst curry we have ever eaten. It really was bad. Poor quality service was followed by curries that would not be purchased in tescos. We paid for our drinks and papadoms and left. Disgusting food. Give this place a wide berth.
It's Friday night. Restaurant's all along i-drive are brimming. You can see queues in their foyers where people have to wait to get in. That should of given our party of six a clue that something was not good about this place. As a frequent traveller to Orlando I know many good places to eat and we'd headed to Tony... More
My nephew and I ate dinner on Tuesday evening on July 30th. I love Indian food and was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the quality of the food. The staff was very friendly and we had the opportunity to meet and talk to the owner. Very nice person and he obviously is very serious about his food.... More
I was not sure what to expect when I had dinner at Taj Mahal. The one thing I was worried about is that I do not like spicy food at all. When you think indian you think spice! I ordered the butter chicken mild, but I was offered medium or hot as well. I was very happy with my meal,... More
