Great fried chicken! This place gives you an insane country meal for around $10. You can't beat it if you are really hungry. Nice down to earth place.

I hadnt been to a Po Folks restuarant in like 15 years and was happy to see one here. Had the fried chicken and it was delicious, the sides were great and the cornbread too. The menu had many choices to pick from everyone will find something they like.
As my title says, much of the food is incredibly salty, especially the fried fish. I've eaten here several times, and, while the service is excellent, their cooks are in love with that salt. Salty food is not a plus--there's a salt shaker on the table! Their macaroni and cheese is boiled macaroni with cheese whiz poured over it--really sorry...

Very pleasant visit. Although at peak hour on a Friday, hostess was friendly and attentive. Server was a young man who didn't stop all the time we were there. He didn't waste a step and always checked the tables and offered his attention when needed. Food was the usual excellent fried chicken and fish and the french fries perfect, everything...

We went there for dinner while in st. Pete. Most meals come with two sides and bread but the portions are not very big so you do not over eat. The main course (I had blackened catfish) was amazing!!!! The sides leave something to be desired. Red beans and rice are disappointing, do not get them. Overall, good food at...

We tried this restaurant on our last night in St Petersburg as we had passed it a couple of times and it seemed to be quite busy. The menu was varied - more country style. I had one of the salads which included a piece of county fried steak, grilled chicken and shrimp with dinner breadstick and dressings. Hubbie had...
