The best chocolate cake I've tasted other than homemade. Just bought the cake. The food is too boring for me.

I can't believe all the hype on this place . They don't even use real whipped cream ! And the pancakes are very dry . The pie tasted like a 'jello' dessert mix from publix . Cracker barrell is 10 times better . Also very pricey . They charge for syrup! Not homemade foods .
We went to Yoder's on a friends recommendation. We fortunately went early (4:30 pm) and were seated immediately. Yoder's is homey and known for its Amish influence. The portions were large with the mashed potatoes being smooth and creamy. We were disappointed that the day we went fried chicken was not being served, however, they did have an very good...

If you love good home cooking this is the place to go. The menu is full of Amish-style comfort food dishes...fried chicken, meatloaf, roast beef, turkey, etc. Have eaten here several times but keep going back to the same thing, Turkey Manhattan. It's always delicious. HUGE hot turkey sandwich, big helping of mashed potatoes, all smothered in gravy. I get...

My husband & I wanted to eat here because this restaurant appeared on an episode of "Man v. Food" & it looked like a place that would have decent home cooked meals. After waiting on line outside the restaurant, around the end of January or beginning of February, for approximately 30-45 mins. we finally got seated as they do not...

Learned about Yoder's from the TV show Man vs Food. It was busy and we had a 30 min wait for a table (Friday night at 6.30). It made for a nice change; the restaurant was very homely with the Amish influence, and the menu was huge. Portions were equally huge and we all enjoyed our meals (choices were meatloaf...

We first saw this restaurant featured on the Food Network which peaked our curiosity. Then, we played in a baseball tournament in Bradenton, so we made an extra effort to head to Sarasota for a special dinner. And THAT it was! Great home-cooked food like grandma used to make. And, the PEANUT BUTTER PIE - to DIE for!!! I even...

I was surprised, some years ago, when I first started visiting Sarasota, to learn there is an Amish community there and several Amish restaurants in this town. Yoder's is my favorite. Though some of the food would be considered "unhealthful" these days, with lots of breads, mashed potatoes, stuffing and fried foods, there are other offerings, such as lunch or dinner...
