We spend winters in Tarpon and Mama's on Alt US 19 is one of our favorites. Grilled Calamari, fried zuccini or any of their specials. You kow it is good when the locals eat there and Mama her self is usually there behind the countetr.

This is our favorite Greek restaurant in Tarpon Springs, and that's saying a mouthful. Food is great and prices are reasonable.

Great $3 margaritas. Very Reasonable prices. We love sitting on the patio or at the patio bar. Truly a tourist destination but they take care of regulars. Lunch, Dinner or in between a visit to Mama's is always fun. Authentic Greek dishes with large servings. They tend to overcook the calamari. Otherwise great dining. Suggest mid afternoons to avoid crowds

We really enjoyed our recent lunch here. The menu has many greek specialities, and also a number of non-greek dishes for those who were with us and did not want greek food. Portions were large, served piping hot and with a smile. We will be going back here again and again I am sure.

There are many Greek restaurants in Tarpon Springs and I am in no position to make comparisons. I can say that we were the only table here not speaking Greek, and that the food was excellent. Never been disappointed. Restaurant is old and dated so don't go for the ambiance - but the food is prepared in the old fashioned way, is authentically GREEK (potato salad is an American concoction by the way), and is very reasonably priced. They welcome my well-behaved dog on the patio - Yea!!!!
