For years we've made it a point to get to Cafe Bleuu every time we are near Welaka. The food is some of the best I've eaten... EVER. When we arrived one day as they were closing, Roxy and Chef Bleuu turned around and cooked us a fabulous meal. The price is reasonable for food that is high quality and... More

Cafe Bleuu is the place to go for great cooking, generous portions, amazing views of the St Johns River and outgoing lovable owners! It has become a family favorite! We make the drive weekly from St Augustine!

As you enter Roxy and Bleu make you feel right at home as valued patrons. Setting is as enjoyable as is the experience. Specials of the day are always exceptional, be it Crusted Grouper, Shrimp Scampi, steak or one of the many items. Expertly prepared and cooked, served on a beautiful plate, with if you wish a perfect spring mix... More

Wonderful place, Bleu and Roxie treated us like old friends. The food was awesome. Shrimp and crab cakes were very good, only enough breading to hold them together. My wife ordered the sky high lasagna, when it came out it was the size of half a loaf of bread, great sauce and meat, wonderful. If you want a real treat,... More

If you haven't been here, you gotta' go! The food is fabulous and Roxy always makes us feel very welcome. We have brought friends and family visiting Florida here and they have never been disappointed. It's certainly worth the drive if you don't live in the area! Oh, and the view is killer . . . right on the St.... More

My wife and I made a special trip just to eat here to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. We have travelled far and wide, cruises, all over the U.S., and have never found a restaurant that even comes close. Everything is hand prepared, homemade, even the garlic and chive soft butter and ice cream. Fresh Grouper, quiches, schnitzel, Spaghetti Bolonese,... More

I'm a classy guy. I usually prefer my food without mosquitoes. Sometimes I can take it. The food was good. The mosquitoes made things bitter. My friend drank like 5 mosquitoes. It was crazy I told him he was going to get stomach AIDS and I should know because I am a Medicine Man of sorts. I'm also a genius.... More

We heard about this place from those staying at Welaka lodge and that the food was pretty good. It was an early afternoon dinner with friends on vacation so we decided to give it a try. Food was good; I had the hamberger and it was huge and jucy. My wife had the fish and said it was covered in... More

Everytime we come to Welaka for a long weekend we eat here at least once or twice and have enough to take home for another meal. The price is good for what you get. Try their fried green tomatoes, Bolognese, and cognac chocolate cake.

The crabcakes were excellent. with minimal breading. We found this restaurant by accident while staying at a dismal lodge nearby. Cafe Bleu is a little gem surprise on the Saint John's River and wonderful alternative to area restaurants where fried everything is the only dining option.
