If you want a high quality breakfast in Windermere, Dixie Cream will fit the bill. Sure, it's a little higher price than other places, but you get what you pay for. The service is usually good, but they do get busy at certain times, and there could be a wait.

Enjoyed a very tasty breakfast today at the Dixie Cream Cafe. The coffee was fresh and hot with real cream served out of a cow creamer - how Dixie is that?? I had the Do Wa Ditty omelette and it was cooked perfectly ... and the biscuits are to die for! With honey, the biscuit is the perfect dessert for... More

We love Dixie Cream! My favorite breakfast place. I come here all the time. The biscuits are huge and amazing!! My husband loves the brisket breakfast. They never fail to impress us. Definitely worth the trip!

This great breakfast and lunch spot is not your typical greasy spoon. In fact it is not even in the same class as a greasy spoon. It is located in the heart of downtown Windermere and is the only sit restaurant in Windermere. Dixie Cream offers everything for breakfast from standard eggs and bacon to the best white egg frittata... More

We eat here after Mass most Sundays and enjoy the food and the staff. I enjoy their fried green tomato BLT or Fish Tacos (although put sauce on side). My husband loves their spicy chicken sandwich. The breakfasts are great, their pancakes are wonderful and their eggs benedict is fabulous! I love that it's family owned and the owner is... More

Nice ambience, great staff and very good food. So glad to have this place in my neighborhood. I gave it 5 stars based on its performance as a breakfast restaurant (can't comment on their lunch and dinners). Keep up the good work you guys!!

We enjoy having our Sunday breakfast at the cafe - a nice atmosphere in downtown Windermere. Well worth the vist! We bring family when they are in town. You will enjoy the food especially the homemade biscuits - well done!

Poor service, okay food, overpriced food, not worth it. I would rather eat at Peach Valley Cafe. Hostess acted like she did not want to be there. Staff does not know how to handle a full dining room. Employees walked by our table many times before they acknowledged us. I think they need Gordon Ramsey to help them.

This is a cute quaint restaurant with friendly service that is tucked away. They mostly serve breakfast food. They promote themselves as a Southern cafe. The food isn't flavorful enough to be Southern. Breakfast food is some of the simplest food to make. The grits were too runny, scrambled eggs slightly over cooked with little flavor, and the biscuits are... More
