Closed....no longer in business. It was ok when we went. Wanted to go again, but it is gone. It was a little over priced. Maybe something good will go in the space.
Was taken here as a guest and enjoyed everything - food, atmosphere, service. Ended up going there again myself the next evening. Pasta wonderful, veal marsala a standout, tiramisu superb. There is so much mediocre Italian food out there, it is great to be surprised with delicious choices. Families and dates were all there to enjoy the experience. Highly recommend
This was my first visit to Capozzi's on the recommendation of my son. We have always been looking for a replacement for our gone (1 year ago) favorite of Franco's at Cheshire Bridge/Piedmont, my son felt that Capozzi's could be "it" based on the pasta and the chocolate cake. Well worth the trip. We had their bruschetta, a pine nut/pesto... More
I would so very much like to say that we had a good experience here but last night was jaw-droppingly awful. First, one of the reasons we came was for to meet friends who go to Capozzi's frequently, introduce new friends to the place and all 6 of us enjoy dinner with their Monday night martini specials. How do you... More
This is one hell of a great Italian restaurant. We visit here as often as we can and have never once been disappointed. Try the Francese, it is out of this world, and the Scampi is a delicate blend of buttery flavorl and lemon. Really the best I've every had. The chef is a master of the sauces. Every one... More
A friend recommended we meet at a neighborhood restaurant that she liked. I was very pleased with the service, meal and ambiance. In fact, the service was excellent and the food very good. I recommend the limoncello cheese cake - a family tradition. I will definitely visit again.
Capozzi's in Decatur was a mixed experience for us. All in all we enjoyed our evening there, but probably will not return any time soon. It has the air of a neighborhood pizza and pasta place...lots of people having fun and enjoying a decent Italian meal. We started in the bar while waiting at the table. I must say that... More
Serves great Italian food and have never been disappointed. Love the carbonara and the vodka sauce. A great value as well as the food is very reasonably priced. They even deliver to a pretty broad area. The outdoor furniture is plastic and maybe a bit too casual. Otherwise a fantastic place and one of our "go to" restaurants.
We hit Capozzi's late on a Friday night, on the recommendation of some friends from the Decatur area. The food was creative without losing authenticity, the waiter attentive and helpful, and the Sangria was perfect. We ate ourselves into misery, but still managed to take down a piece of tiramisu roughly the size of Manhattan. I highly recommend this place!
Not sure what happened here. We used to love this place about 2 years ago- great food, great staff. Haven't been in about 6 months because the service was progressively worse each visit. Very sad...
