The food here was wonderful and we would go back to Jekyll Island just to eat here again.

We really enjoyed our meal and our waitress was very friendly. Food was amazing and so was the view!
My friends and I dined at several places on Jekyll Island during our weekend stay and Latitude 31 was definitely the best. Pros: good seafood, good service, festive and fun locale on the wharf, interesting menu with lots of great choices. Cons: bar charged me more than double for my glass of wine, atmosphere in restaurant is a bit stark...

We enjoyed our experience at Latitude 31 - probably the best cooked seafood we have ever had! We started with the Fried Green Tomatoe Caprese - wonderful! Dinner for my husband was Surf - Surf & Surf with fried scallops (who knew these could be so good!) grilled shrimp and blackened grouper - probably the most perfectly prepared blackened grouper...

Upon a recent visit to Jekyll, we ate here several times. The best on the island, hands down! Great food, great drinks, fantastic views. Looking forward to returning soon!!!
The bartender was rude and would not wait on us. Even though we had reservations we had to wait for over 20 minutes. They sat 6 of us at a table for 4. The waitress was also in a bad mood. We left.
We had to wait for 45 minutes on a Saturday night but so worth it!! Delicious food! I had the crepes and my husband had the shrimp and grits!! We also had the fried green tomatoes. Very yummy!!
Just a reminder - we love our customers but can not accept American Express. Of course, VISA and MasterCard and good 'ol cash.

Our review is based on one visit, but we would definitely go back to this island restaurant. Our food was wonderful! We each had Grouper Hemingway. The dish was perfect. Throw in very good service, a spacious dining room and a wonderful sunset over the marshland...hard to ask for anything more.
