Green Eggs and Ham was clever and unique. Poached Eggs w/ Pesto and parmesan with a thick slice of perfectly cured ham made this Cat in the Hat very happy. Their toast is heavy crusty real bread w/ a nice raspberry jam and lemon curd. A lot of fresh local herbs and veggies go into the food which had a... More

This is our "go to" place for breakfast in Coeur d'Alene. The menu is ecclectic (spaghetti and eggs, duck sausage) and delicious. The service is top notch too. Make sure to try the rosemary toast with house made lemon curd and raspberry jam!

Find it, sign in, and enjoy delicious food for a fair price. You can't go wrong with any of the breakfasts.

We love breakfasts and eat out often. We found this place somewhat overpriced based on the food alone (that is what we go for.) I suppose if you are willing to pay for the "eclectic" atmosphere you will be pleased.

The best breakfast you will find anywhere! All fresh local ingredients, creative menu, delicious! We had rosemary toast with lemon curd and raspberry jam, NW omelette and the pork tenderloin. We will do it again for sure!

We had breakfast at the Garnet on Sunday and it was amazing! Like any great smaller breakfast place it is worth the wait to get in! My mother had the Pork Tenderloin which was incredible because I would have never guessed to have that offered as a breakfast choice. I had the Idaho scramble which was great! I will definitely... I'm always wowed when I go and I go all the time. The most incredible flavors and a lot of unexpected flavors. Their rosemary toast with lemon curd and raspberry jam is to die for and I almost always order the Northwestern omelette. Last time I went I wanted a salad and they whipped me an incredible medley of quinoa,... More

Cozy and fun settling with very friendly staff and great grub. Great corned beef hash and a variety of good adult beverages for breakfast.

If you want to drink mimosas, brass monkeys (with an actual 40oz OE) this is the place to go. It also has great food. I think we had salmon Benedict or something. All our food was great. It tends to have a wait on weekends as it is not very big.
