It was really good, but I didn't get the whole Hawaiian fusion thing..we ate finger foods like sushi, pulled pork sliders, egg rolls, crab cakes, coconut shrimp, and ribs. I was all really good, I'd be interested in going back to eat dinner for real.

Met up with friends here last March and it was a lovely evening. Service was excellent, and the food was delicious. I had never been to this chain/restaurant, but I'll definitely be back. We had the special, which was a fixed price menu (almost all seafood) - my main course was a trio of different dishes so I tried a... More

Ate here last night with my daughter and her Florida roommate to celebrate a birthday. When we arrived to table it had an adorable sign of birthday greetings and silver birthday confetti. What a lovely way to set the tone for a special night. We all had price fix menu with different options each and all was excellent. Then our... More

This place is exactly what you expect, with a little twist. While waiting on your table you can have a cocktail at the bar, which for some reason are seemingly Hawaiian themed. The featured cocktail is delicious BTW. When you are seated, the service is great. They are very well trained and professional servers. The atmosphere was great and the... More

Travelling on my own went to the bar and had their "happy hour" dishes at $6 each. Outstanding quality and taste. It took a lot of willpower not to stay and continue to eat the fascinating dishes that were being served. Ticks all the boses!

Expected more. Just okay food. Liked the free edamame the best. The bar happy hour specials on food are a great deal

We came here after our positive experience at the Roy's in Honolulu and we have not regretted to book a table in Chicago too. The service is outstanding, e.g. when the waitress poured my drink which she could not reach easily said politely: "pardon my reach".... it's nice. But the food was really extraordinary, not only the sushi which has... More

My wife and I tried Roy's on our second night in Chicago. We were extremely impressed with the food and our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed, but seemed upscale. We had a sushi roll topped with Waygu beef and the lobster dim sum. Both appetizers were delicious and tasted very fresh. For our main course... More

A few blocks West of the Apple Store (a location everyone knows) on the Magnificent Mile in Chicago is a wonderful Hawiian fusion place known as Roy's. This place serves up oneof the finest fish dishes I have ever eaten! The Blackened Black Cod, titled "butter fish" on the menu, not for any relationship to Escolar but in fact to... More
