It's a fun place to take the kids & our bacon cheeseburgers were very good. The 3-way chili is excellent as well.
Brought the family to revisit a stop we went to as kids and it was as we remembered it. Fun, vibrant, sassy, rude (nice rude though) and mediocre food. Hot dog was cold, chilli was ehhh and such was the general consensus from the table in regards to the food. Its a great place for a child's birthday or to... More
My mother, aunt, and mysef made a trip to Chicago and Ed Debevic's was on out "MUST SEE" list. I love the dancing waitresses and the sassy waiters too. The food is really good, my favorite is the World's Smallest Sundae for dessert.
Fun experiance. We took the hockey team here. The boys had a great time. Atmosphere was great, but the food was average.
Went there with colleagues on a Friday afternoon. Ambience was great and we loved all the craziness at this place. Oreo Shake was best and burgers were good too. Their service is outstanding and they know how to make you order the right stuff. Will surely go back soon!
I decided to take my 16 year old and daughter and a friend visiting from Denmark to Ed’s for dinner one night during our weekend in Chicago - they both loved it. I first went to Ed’s almost 30 years ago, when the mini sundaes were 50 cents, they’re $2.75 now! And I have been several times since when traveling... More
The food was ok at best. The Oreo shake was super yummy though! I had the Route 66 burger and the sourdough bread they use was hard (interesting because it was thin and grilled). One friend got the 3 sliders - they were huge for sliders, almost a full size burger. A lot of food. The servers are fun with... More
We were passing Ed's on our holiday one afternoon after lots of walking and the rain pouring down. We jumped in just to get a drink and a small bite not having a clue about the "theme". Our server "ace" threw hats at us and said "you work it out". Before long all kinds of mad capers ensued - waiters... More
We had a blast with the staff after stopping in after a long day seeing some sites. The waitress was a blast, a little slow with the service, but we guessed it was part of the theme. The food was good, but the joking and fun insults made the visit worth while.
After reading the reviews about this place I was quite optimistic about finding a fun place to take my family. We arrived at about 9 PM last Friday, October 24, to find a nearly empty restaurant . . .only one table occupied. That should have been a clue. Chicago, Friday night, no customers? We decided to try it anyway. What... More
Thank you so much for the feedback. We're very sorry to hear about your recent experience at Ed's. Our servers are known for their sassiness, but at no point should that affect the quality of service. We would appreciate it if you could email us at email@example.com so that our manager can reach out to you to get some more... More
