3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 June 2013 NEW

In 3 widely spaced visits, the latest 2 days ago, I had 3 burgers, 3 fries, and 2 shakes. Probably the 3 best servings of fries I've ever had. The griddled burgers are good, but nothing special IMO. My coffee shake was was small for the price, and - worse - the coffee flavor was barely noticeable. The primary flavor... More

Great flavorful, juicy burger cooked to order. The cut fries can be prepared with many options. Fries remind me of fresh cut you only get at beachfront boardwalk. My only negative is how long it took to get the meal. However, with the crowd that was there, it is understandable.

If you like Smashburger then this is your place. Burger is flat, kind of dry, with not much flavor. Not as greasy as a smashburger. The hand cut fries are excellent. Malts are very average, nothing special. It was an experience waiting in line a finding a table. I personally think Five Guys makes a better tasting burger. If you... More

Quick and delicious. You order and pay up front and then the open kitchen makes your order in front of you. Very flavorful burger and delicious garlic fries but a little soggy. Didn't mind. Shakes were delicious and they even helped carry it to the table. Very friendly and fun vibe in the place. Highly recommend this neighborhood restaurant.

I am a burger fiend. When I am craving something for dinner, it is usually a burger, which led to the GREAT BURGER HUNT OF 2013. Over the last month, I have gone out for eight burgers. You might say,"eight burgers doesn't seem like a lot..." To that I would say: these were not haphazard burgers. These were intentional burgers.... More

One of my favorite burgers on the north shore of Chicago. Great selection of fries that are very special when prepared well done with a side of cheese. There is nothing better than a bottle of Coke to go with this great burger.

Great burger - fries - shake destination in Evanson, Illinois. Remember, a college town, so can get very crowded at peak times. Burgers were large, juicy, tasty. Had the extra done fries and they were brown - crispy, as advertised. Shakes are old fashioned type, made in metal containers, so basically a large glass and a half! Highly recommended for... More

I've heard such good things about Edzo's for multiple sources, including Trip Advisor, so my expecations were pretty high. I went on a Sunday morning to avoid any lines, and was able to do so. The staff was great, both personable and helpful. I ordered a charburger with cheese and bacon, garlic fries and a chocolate/banana shake. The fact that... More

How could you not like a juicy, succulent grass fed beef hamburger? Seasoned fries and a peanut butter cup milkshake? I'll take 2 please! The food there was great. We drove a distance for our naughty little pleasure. It we enjoyed I very much. We found the place on tasting table for the Lincoln park location and we will definitely be... More

I had the opportunity to visit the new Edzo's location in Lincoln Park (2218 N. Lincoln Ave. in Chicago). First and foremost, aside from the food, the workers there made me feel really welcome, which is such a nice, refreshing feeling. If that wasn't enough to make me smile, then the food certainly would! I got a single burger, small... More
