The food was absolutely wonderful. The best dinner we have had in a while. A small intimate place for a special dinner. We had their renowned chocolate dessert, which was so big we couldn't even finish the shared portion - to die for! Prices are a big higher than others, but worth the splurge.

This is simply one of the finest restaurants in the Midwest. The chef displays exceptional talent. Is there a restaurant in Las Vegas in the offing for this superb culinary artist? If not, there should be. Move over Puck; make room for this maestro from England. No wonder the royals are fans.

Tucked behind the Main Street almost as an afterthought or back room, this restaurant has its own unique menu based around its chef's uniquely created blends of spices, each of which are available for purchase in the restaurant! I had a seafood dish with a hint of curry that was amazing! The seasoning blend was Mediterranean and I definitely went... More

We had been tipped off by our B&B host that this was a great place for dinner, and I'm so glad that we had dinner here. This is a small place, and has a nice, intimate feel. We went for an early dinner, and were able to take our time ---- which, combined with the food and atmosphere, felt completely... More

If you go no where else in Galena be sure to go to the Perry Street Brasserie! And make a reservation because this is a popular spot! For this restaurant alone--I wish I had a home in Galena. The chef is wonderful, the food scrumptious, the wine delicious, and the desert decadent! Quality ingredients and warm and superb wait staff... More

After speaking the chef directly I had higher hopes for the 50th birthday celebration I had planned. He assured me "a really good restaurant" could accommodate our vegan request. He also said he would prepare a special dessert for the occasion. Not only did our waiter not know we had requested vegan when we first sat down, no body had... More

This is a hidden gem in downtown Galena. I'm a Chicagoan who is accustomed to eating at some of the finest restaurants. But this restaurant offer something unique. A small dining room offers a quiet and romantic evening and makes the diner feel as though the chef for preparing a meal just for you. From the decor on the wall... More

We ate here on a recent Saturday night with friends and absolutely loved it. This is a small place, very comfortable but not over-the-top fancy. There is a good wine selection and a full bar. The beer selection is on the small side. The menu is small, varied and eclectic. We started with their hors d'oeuvres sampler plate, which is... More

The chef did an excellent job accomodating low-fat requests. The Ahi tuna was exceptional, as were the pork chops. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The wine list was also nice.

Quirky staff, great food, waiter recommendations were educated and right on. But wow that water/dessert lady was weird
