you get what you pay for - they should stick to making cheap RTA furniture
Take home a piece of Sweden, unfortunately IKEA no longer carries the Swedish name brand products it used to do in the past. We are among 500 000 Swedes in the US who are very disappointed that IKEA nowadays chooses to promote their own brand which is tasteless as well as carries poor quality
My first time at an Ikea store and restaurant was amazing. Whoever thought of the Ikea store and restaurant concept had a great idea. The food at the restaurant was better than average, and very cheap! I would recommend a visit here.

food is basic, cheap and relatively boring. miss the lentil soup with mustard and the open face shrimp sndwich. you have to be hungry to eat here. It's not bad but if you shop here often it is blah!
This was at least our 15th trip to Ikea's restaurant. We love to go for breakfast. Very afordable. The small breakfast has eggs, potato and bacon. The large has that plus French toast sticks. This was my third IKEA and third time eating at an IKEA cafeteria. Not a lot of furniture/housewares stores have cafeterias, which makes it an always strange experience.
