Fantastic food. Yum. I would eat here again in a heartbeat. Aush-rishta soup was exquisite. Kari sautéed pumpkin should be a dessert. Chicken kebabs moist and seasoned to perfection. Prices very reasonable. You won't be disappointed.

I am not sure what the big deal is. The meat was undercooked, and bland. Not a good place for kids. Don't have kids menu. Don't have plastic cups. The rice with raisins was delicious.

Now located on Oakton in downtown Skokie, Kabul House remains a little known jewel of a restaurant on the North Shore. Interesting, delicious ethnic food, but not too overly for local tastes.
