Cornbeef was dry and not flavorale. Had to ask for cornbeef from another brisket. Not a variety of side items to choose from, maybe,because it was in the evening. Pricing a little step. Employees very friendly and helpful. I found the place itself clean.

This deli offered the best tasting corned beef sandwich! The bread was fresh and the sandwich was warm. All I can say is "yummy"! They have a great selection of entrees, sandwiches, sides and delicious desserts. There is even an area where you can get deli meats to go. Can't wait to go back!

Giant, wonderful corned beef and pastrami sandwiches. Excellent potato latkes. Great desserts. Just like stepping back into time at this Indianapolis original.

There are some places in Indy you just have to go to for tradition's sake, and one is Shapiro's. Esp. for the mac&cheese and brisket on a soft roll. No one does it like them. My only negative is the new location in Carmel. Too bad the owners made that decision!

I've heard of this place for years but this was my first visit. Food was good and plentiful. I see other reviewers talking of high prices so maybe other meals are out of line but I sure didn't think breakfast was.
