We eat here everytime we visit nashville. Sitting on the porch is a must, love the atmosphere. The ruebens are very good, they make their own kraut. Veggie quesadillas are also really good.

We ate in the restaurant and had Scott as are waiter both times we ate there and he was great. The food was awesome ! It is worth eating there it is wonderful and very nice waiters.
Although the setting is perfect for people watching and we did request and sit on the front porch, this was just an ordinary place to eat. Upon trip advisor reviews, I selected the chicken pot pie and my husband selected the catfish sandwich. The presentation of the pot pie with a pie crust in the shape of a chiken on...

Everything about this place was great! I would come back here again. Best onion rings I have had in long time
We always like eating here, whether we are staying in the hotel of not. It has a Shaker style and is very attractive. The food is good for all meals we have had there. We especially like the front porch and eat outside any time possible.
this restaurant gave my son and I a 10% discount because we stayed at the Comfort Inn. We had the Hoosier Tenderloin sandwich Platter and it was terrific, we had gotten a salad also and the House Vinegrette was the best, I then had Apple Crisp and my son got the Blackberry Cobbler, all I can say about the Artist...

Very good food. Hard to get seat on the porch but its worth it. We got one by going very late. Prices a little high. Wonderful decor. Very popular and the wait time in mid-day will be long. Try to do late brunch.
We've made the Arist Colony a must-have for lunch on our annual trips to Brown County. Their food is very good with a good variety. Definitely comfort food--think meatloaf, turkey manhattans, chicken pot pies (which are all fantastic, by the way). The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Just like all the good eats in Nashville,...

The comforting scents of coffee and good food welcome visitors. As one settles into the surprisingly incredibly comfy Windsor chairs in the spacious dining room a calm washes over…what is different here? Perfect candle lighting…yes, wool rugs in muted shades…yes, but…there is something else.
The pleasant sounds of calm chatting and utensils in use & nothing blaring…no music, no television,...

We had a group of 8 and our server did a great job keeping up with us. The potato skins were good except for the bacon bits...real bacon would have been better. The spinach artichoke dip and chips were great. We don't recommend the meatloaf. It wasn't good at all. The ribs were decent, cheeseburger & chicken strips were good...
