We only went to Ho Ping because it was across the street from the hotel. It was our lucky day! What a great little restaurant, pretty decor and friendly staff! The eggrolls were crispy and delicious. I can't remember the names of the dishes we chose but they were delicious, well prepared with fresh ingredients and wonderful sauces. This restaurant... More

I was very impressed with Ho Ping House when they first opened. Now, that it has been open for a year or so, the quality of the food has gone down. I have dined in to the restaurant four times and have ordered carry out three times. Dining inn is definitely a better experience. I love that they give you... More

The good here is the best Chinese I've ever had (outside of PF Changs). The atmosphere is very nice and the people are incredibily nice and attentive!

This was my first visit to this restaurant. I have eaten at other places like this example Mark's in South Bend ( no longer in business) and found it to be almost like it. My cashew chicken looked just like I pictured it to be. I would definitely go back.

I always judge a Chinese restaurant by certain things on the menu. The Coconut Chicken didn't work. I am not sure, but I didn't taste any in the dish. We also had beef and vegetables. That was bad. The last thing on the plate was mushu pork. They rolled it in a way that looked like burritos. Maybe it is... More

Tonight's dinner was the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. We shared the Empress Chicken, Chicken Fried Rice, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork, an appetizer of four Crab Rangoon, one Egg Roll, and soft drinks for approximately $10 per person before tax and tip. The crab rangoon were filled with more crab than we've seen at other... More

This place is plain, unassuming, economical, and has EXCELLENT chinese food with good-very good service. Clean, fast, and very good selection in the menu. You cannot gop wrong here. Also, SEE the NEW "Ho Ping Gardens" located in a hatd to find strip mall in Niles, MI, along Rt 933.

You wouldn't expect a Chinese restaurant in Indiana to serve anything more than deep fried bait. I am pleased to say that we were very impressed with the selection and quality of the food. It looks somewhat high class when you enter and we thought that it would be a spendy meal. As it turned out, the large and not-at-all... More
