I went there for lunch with friends, I was surprised, the food was very good. They seemed to be busy.

Visiting my son in Wichita. One of his favorite places and now mine too! Had the "Junkyard Dog" 3 egg omelet filled with bacon, ham, tomatoes, onions and green peppers. Huge portions and delicious! Hash browns crisp and perfectly cooked. Fast, friendly service. Great home cooked food at a great price. Highly recommend!
By the name, it wasn't what I expected. Guess I thought it would be by a lake, river or something. It is patronized by the locals which is a good sign. If you want a quiet place, this isn't for you. Tables and booths are close, in fact we were at a table for 9 and a party came in...

She had the breakfast, and I had a mushroom and swiss. Place was packed, but we were seated upon walking inn and recieved our order PDQ! Food was great, and so was the service.
A great atmosphere for brunch. We were here at 11 am on a Monday and it was very busy! Obviously a local favorite. Classic Midwestern breakfast fare on a huge menu. Food arrived quickly, friendly service, tasty food. We like local hole-in-the-wall joints with unique flavor and this definitely fit the bil!
I bought an e-mail coupon so thought we should try it out. What a neat little place, and it is quite little. It is reminiscent of the old 50's diner, in fact, that's what it is. There are still juke boxed in the booths, menus on the chalk boards, and waitresses who are friendly, energetic, and attentive. The menu has...

The only reason I ate here was because I got points from Best Buy's incentive program. Boy was I disappointed. Be wary when you walk into a "restaurant" at high noon and are almost alone. Food was less then average and the service needed help. You would think since I was alone I would have been seen more.
This cute little place is something really out-of-the ordinary in eating out. It looks like nothing much on the outside, but inside you step back into an eatery from the early 1900s, judging by the ambiance, furniture, decor and abundance of intriguing historic Wichita photos on the wall. Food is decent diner/cafe food, modestly priced, served by nice-enough folks, quickly...

We had a lovely breakfast at the location on Woodlawn. Great food (incredible ham steaks and pancakes) and super friendly waitstaff. You'd never know how good this place is from the looks of it outside. It was recommended by locals, and they weren't wrong!
Great little spot down by the river. Food is good but its stick your ribs type food, so expect to taste it the rest of the day. Great little menu, great service, and good food for great prices. Every city has a small restaurant that does it right. Whicta has Riverside.
The restaurants interior looks like your grandmothers house, not...
