I had a Caesar salad. And the toasted bread. Plenty to take home. Along with a small glass of wine it was perfect for me I liked the wifi. Oh and the lovely pictures of Italy. The manager was energetic and helpful.

We've been to Italy five times and have not yet tasted a pizza better than Smashing. We eat pizza's all over the USA and can only think of two places with pizza that was in this league! The Smashing sauce is ridiculously good. The salads are smashing too.

I suspect the owners of Smashing Tomato, which have three locations now in Lexington (we ate at the new Richmond location) have franchising on their mind. My husband and I recently went to Smashing Tomato when lines for another restaurant were too long (movie date night ). This place was perfect. Convenient to the theater and the food was fantastic. We shared a specialty pizza and a large caesar salad. The atmosphere at this place is wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Love the authentic brick oven pizza as well as the salads. Simple, but good! Thursday night wine night is great! Can't beat the price, but the quality is also excellent for fast, casual Italian.

This is a great place to study or work! They have free Wifi and the people there are always very friendly. The house salad with chicken is really really good. The pizza is so so, but is def healthier than some other alternatives.

Smashing Tomato is an upscale Pizza restaurant which offers a better than average selection of gourmet wood fired pizza's, salads, and sandwichs at reasonable prices. It is worth a try.
