This is the best ice cream in the US. My first stop in Louisville is Graeter's. I would weight a ton if I lived in Louisville. Fortunately, I live far away so I treasure my black raspberry chip every time I am in town! While some say the price is high, I say that you get what you pay for!

Greater's is locally made. The owner/manager lives in Louisville with his family. The rest of the family lives in the Cincinnati area. The quality of Greater's ice cream is consistently outstanding.

You've never REALLY had ice cream till you've had Graeters! Multiple locations, same quality ice cream and service at each.

I have friends that come from Texas twice a year and they always want to go to Graeter's Ice Cream. This is one that you shoud try Hands Down.

A local favorite, for sure, but I have yet to find anything "more" special about it than say, Coldstone Creamery.

Very good ice cream and quality ingredients. Ask for a sample and they will happily get it for you. Nice folks. Every visit has been pleasant. They often run little specials and such. Hands down, the best ice cream you will ever put in your mouth!!! Every flavor they have is the best version of that flavor. My favorite is the Bourbon Ball!
