Nice salad bar, steaks cooked to perfection and best baked sweet potato I have ever had! We didn't have room for desert...but the next table over was enjoying the derby pie and hot brownie sundae....both looked yummy!
Our family of seven enjoyed a great brunch at this lovely restaurant in historic Springfield, Ky.

Nice buffet lunch and dinner. Also can order off menu. They have a Sunday Brunch that is very popular. A full bar. I think margaritas are cheaper on Wednesday.
large variety of food, coctails, desserts made in-house and delicious. Staff friendly, prices reasonable, nice atmosphere
Mordecai's reminds me of a upscale restaurant that you would find in a larger city. The buffet was good. I just love the honey bourbon glazed salmon. As a wheelchair user, I try to include accessibility issues in my rating. Mordecai's was very wheelchair friendly.
It was a lot of fun and the food was crazy good! The portions were huge and the server was a lot of fun. Maple Hill Manor recommended it to us. Good call!
The food is good and well presented. The atmosphere is charming. The service is great. Springfield should be proud to have this elegant restaurant on its main street.
Hemingway's restaurant at the Bass Pro Shop in Springfield, MO has excellent fish if you are a seafood lover and the prices are reasonable. A friend told us to shop Bass Pro and be sure to eat there and we're glad we did.
The burger was like eating a piece of shoe leather...I asked the waitress for some sause to go and I was told "You will need to wait I have other orders!!" I have never left a restraunt with out leaving a tip, but I did that day....VERYdissappointed!!!
