This is a really fine place. My wife and I had a really great meal here. The hostess and the waiter were really good and advised us well. The hostess told me her favorite was the salmon and that was what I had. Good Call! Among the best I have ever eaten and I grew up on the West Coast!...

Began with the best Old Fashioned I've had in years--actual muddled fruit, rock sugar swizzle, etc. The duck and tasso spring rolls were great. My pasta dish was good, if a bit rich. The oysters that topped it were piping hot and crisp. Desert was a Chai Tea panna cotta, which was tasty enough. Ambience was very good--the pianist in...

Seafood , Very good bar and piano player Excellent food A bit Expensive. Call for Reservation Middle of Lafayette
How can I say 'GREAT', & 'GREATEST', to help you understand what you miss if you don't treat yourself to the experience of the great food & service that is given here! Amazing! We had our server bring us two coffees so we could just catch our breath, put it into 'neutral', and relax a bit after our long drive...

The atmosphere on a Saturday night with a piano player is cool. Great place for a nice dinner with your spouse.
It was hard to get an 8p.m. reservation at a good restaurant in Lafayette on a Saturday night. Jolie's had nothing, Blue Dog was open, but Charley G's was listed #1 on trip advisor so we wanted to try it. It's a lovely place with a piano man in the bar. Service was great. The seafood special my sister ordered...

Elegant but not stodgy. Food was excellent. I would compare it to a restaurant in Buckhead (Atlanta). Great martinis, excellent wine list and somelier. Escargot, smoked duck and tasso were mouth-watering. The server told us about the chef's experience in preparing each of the entrees. The food presentation was beautiful, and the atmosphere quiet.
Charley G's was a most welcome find on a long road trip from San Antonio to Tampa. The desk clerk at the hotel had recommended another restaurant, but Charley's came up #1 on TripAdvisor. So I went for it and am glad I did. This is a Cajun gem. It was a bit out of the way from my hotel...

I had lunch at Charley G's based on Trip Advisors rating. Although the restaurant is very well appointed and the service was excellent, I don't think the food lived up to a number 1 status in the city.
I started off with the escargot and was surprised that I received 12 of these little delicious snails. However, they were small...
