OMG! Get the coconut cream pie! The best ever! Loaded with coconut! The crawfish was excellent, as was the price. The fried seafood platter was bland. Stick with the crawfish and pie.

If you like fried seafood and large portion, you'd like this place. It's hard to screw up fried food. The place itself is unspectacular and the fried food is the same. I've had better but they did have some interesting menu items. We has fried artichoke hearts with a marinara sauce that was quite good. Also had the seafood pizza,...

This little out of the way restaurant was one of the best seafood restaurants I have been too!! Well worth the time to get there. The service was great (our server, Glenn, was so good and attentive).
Away from the usual tourist spots, atmosphere takes a back seat to the huge platters of food here. The Early Bird Specials are a great bargain on Tuesdays thru Fridays - $15 bucks for gumbo, soup or salad plus choice of selected entrees and soda or iced tea. Service can be a bit slow when it's busy, but the food...

A local took us here and it was a great authentic louisiana eating experience. Huge platters of fresh shrimp and crawfish. Enormous beers in frosted glasses. The barbecue shrimp was especially good. The coconut bread pudding is insanely scrumptious- save room. This is a no frills place. Come casual and ready to get messy. Big fun for our group of...

It was just ok I think it's a little overrated. I've made better crawfish at home but the chocolate pie was really good. I tasted my friend's Po-boy and it wasn't seasoned.

Upon investigating we found that of the three restaurants we had chosen to consider that only Deanie’s was open on Sunday night, so off we went to 1713 Lake Avenue in the Bucktown area of Metairie.
Upon arriving,...

All the locals know about this place but during my last visit in April, I saw some cars from other states in the parking lot.
The food is always great with huge portions of fresh gulf seafood. The food alone is worth the wait! On our last visit, we ordered the Crawfish Four Ways and the Bar-B-Qued Shrimp. Be prepared...

The food was wonderful as well as the service. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and she never let me have an empty glass. The boiled seafood was fresh and delicious. I ordered the stuffed flounder it was great too. I recommend this place to anyone who wants fresh seafood & great service.
If you like seafood here is a place to stop on your next visit to New Orleans. Great seafood at a great price.
