The reputation for Acme Oyster and Seafood House is well earned. We arrived at the restaurant around 9 pm and only waited 15 minutes. Wheelchair accessibility in the restaurant was not a problem. Our waitress was friendly and helpful. In fact she recommended what we should order to get a true New Orleans variety. The chargrilled oysters were fantastic. The... More

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, desserts are great. Takeout order one afternoon was a little slow. VERY short walk from the Ramada.

This place has a line out the door for a reason. The chargrilled oysters are no joke, my wife and I are not oyster lovers and we were blown away. Nice ambience, Service was good, nice and loud and lively.

Get there early or be prepared to wait. It is easy for a party of 1-2 to sit at the bar area and the bartenders and shuckers have been there along time.

Real tasty New Orleans style food that was recommended to my family by a local residence. I believe they are known for their crawfish. The kids enjoyed the po boys for the very first time their.

A New Orleans experience. Loved the oysters. Also enjoyed jambalaya, gumbo and red beans and rice...a typical New Orleans meal! Crowded, noisy but that's all part of the experience. Great staff.

Food was good, not spectacular. I hoped to find a scallop dish, as I'm not an oyster fan but the restaurant was 2 blocks from our hotel. Shrimp was very good.

Everyone liked what they ordered. The food was nothing spectacular, but it wasn't bad at all either. The service was good and the atmosphere was very nice. I'm from the St Louis area and I ordered the meat pies since that sounded intriguing. The waitress tried to explain what they were but didn't really know. When it arrived I was... More

Chargrilled oysters and the fried fish and shrimp combo is a great lunch or dinner. The oysters taste great but are kinda small. The fish and shrimp combo is an easy go to.The staff is nice and the wait is alot shorter than the French Quarter location. Enjoy.
