We were looking for a bar within walking distance of our hotel and were recommended this tavern. Immediately, we warmed to the atmosphere. Even though it is a little dark, our eyes soon adjusted. Make sure, by the way, that you bring photo ID with you as even old people like us have to show it! There is a good... More

Love the local scene, music and food, this is a wonderfully eclectic place. Will return soon. They have the best desserts in town made fresh daily,

This is an excellent place for its very original and exotic foods( you may just find Kangaroo on the menu!), and the service is outstanding. If you can stand indoor smoking, and for this good food anyone just might, definitely give it a try!

I am surprised this place hasn't been featured on the Food network yet. The chefs specials are absolutely amazing. He comes up with fresh new combinations every week. When I see the post on my Facebook page I can't help drooling. Make sure to try the bagel chips/dip. The beer selection is great and the live music just adds to... More

We only had cocktails here, but our bartender made a mean martini and a meaner Manhattan. We decided to go elsewhere for dinner, but ended up regretting that choice. There are fish and chips on the menu that I wish I'd had!

I travelled to Shreveport and happened to come across this bar downtown. It is usually visited by locals so don't expect a tourist crowd or atmosphere. Great food and staff.

Bring your ID!! Our Friends who are in their 40s had to leave bc she didn't have her drivers license with her! We stayed and had mediocre food which we ate as quickly as possible as we were choking on all the cigarette smoke. One waitress for whole place. We won't be going back!

The gumbo and wine list can't be beat. This is a quirky place that has an intimate feel. Love to hear the local musicians play here.
