I have lived in the area all my life, Fish net is a staple here. However their prices for a drive-in are way overpriced. You will be charged fine dining prices for deep fried seafood, fries, onion rings and ice cream. Over the years we have gone from dining here weekly for lunch, dinner & dessert to now only ice... You have traveled to an upscale oasis in rural Maine. The Fish Net, of course, has the finest seafood, especially fried, cooked with great care, when a minute makes a difference. And fairly priced for the quality of the seafood, especially the fish and chips at the low-end and clams of fantastic quality in the middle. But this restaurant accomodates... More

I think they do a great job, whether I go for ice cream, take out, a casual lunch in the yard or a sit down dinner inside. The fact that they still have free ice cream day impressed even my 9-year-old friend. I went last week and had a scallop roll--delish! The week before it was a scallop dinner--again, great.... More

The most overpriced, tasteless guck that I have found in Maine. Short of the mex in Ellsworth. I took my daughter (5) there for a quick lunch stop, $36, an 40 minutes later we had food that he refused to eat, saying it was too disgusting, and I had the worst fish and chips that I have ever been served.... This is not a typical fried fare/hamburger joint! We had delicious tempura green beens (!) along with outstanding crab and lobster rolls.

Stopped here with a friend I was visiting. The outside looks like a roadside shack you might not want to try. They have a take out window but we decided to eat inside. There are four booths, clean but small. Staff is very friendly and they have fast service. We had lobster rolls which were very good, my only criticism... More

The Fish Net looks like a typical road side shack drive-up restaurant frequently seen in Maine, but after sampling their wonderful food you will realize it is truly a special “eatery” with its own unique approach. Only the large number of cars and long line of customers alerts a passerby to the well deserved popularity of this small restaurant. The... More

Classic lobster shack style place, with ice cream and good quality food. Inside might be nice, but we didn't go in. We ordered lobster from the window, and came back a few times when we were hungry in Blue Hill. Cute place, solid food, good sundaes and ice cream too. Closing for the season in early October, which is too... More

Great place to stop and sit on a shade covered picnic table and enjoy a scallop roll! We enjoyed how fresh the fish was and great grab and go type of spot for lunch. Worth the 10 min line to order.
