Don't let the outside scare you away. The food is great and I have been told by Jamaicans who work here seasonally, the food is authentic!

If you've never tried Jamaican Patty, this is the place to try them. My kids LOVED it for their first time trying them. Stopped here hoping for a burger actually but you won't find them here.
Wow. Heading south on Route 1 at 8 p.m. on a July Saturday with three hours left to drive and two tired six-year-olds, we were hoping to find a clam shack still open to keep us going without killing our vacation budget or delaying our progress. I'm glad no one was tailgating us because my eagle-eyed husband hit the brakes...

Just like home... We have been to Negril 15 times and this is as authentic as it gets. The pork and ribs were fantastic, the wife had the chicken and loved it. Pull in and have a taste of the Islands you won't be sorry. Respect...
Having been to Jamaica 4 times I will say the food is wonderful just what I was missing since my last trip to Negril.

I have a love for Jamaica and it's not often I find Jamaican food spots in New England, so I had to give this place a try. It's in such an unexpected location along route 1, and it will absolutely catch your eye with the native colors. Watch for red, green, and yellow!
I have to be honest with you...

Once you get tired of the fried food and butter-laden breadcrumb stuffed seafood that most every other York eatery offers, try this place. It's a nice change and much different than you'll find anywhere else in Maine.
This place looks like a hole in the wall...well it kinda is a hole in the wall. But man do they serve good food! This place is no joke though..the jerk chicken is spicy!!! If you are used to the Americanized version of jerk chicken...you will be very surprised to taste the real thing! Bring your glass of milk!
