This was our first stop at Perkins Cove after reading rave reviews for their lobster rolls. I tried the butter lobster roll (without mayo) and it was just alright. I would not say it is special. Also it did not seem like fresh lobster because they advertised steamed lobster special but said they were waiting for the lobster to be delivered.... More

I was hesitant to go here because of the hype, but I'm so glad I did. There is no restaurant. It is just a take out window, but the food is exceptionally good. The lobster rolls looked amazing, but I decided on the haddock sandwich. It is so good and large enough to share. Truly the best fish sandwich I... More

After reading the many reviews on the Footbridge, we decided to check it out for lunch. The lobster rolls are great, lots of meat with your choice of mayo or butter. It comes w/ potato salad or chips! You do have to find a seat on the benches nearby, but we had no problem. Every time we go to Ogunquit,... More

We looked forward to making Footbridge Lobster our first food stop at Ogunquit after having had terrific chowder and lobster roll last April. Unfortunately we were disappointed by the chowder which lacked the wonder flavor we loved so. It actually seemed to be more of a potato chowder without much seafood. Lobster roll was just OK. Hope this was just... More

We decided to give this place a try based on the TA reviews. Definitely a lobster shack where you order your food, then find a table, then collect your food around 15 mins later, but what is really lacking is the view - there really isn't one. Basically this is a small building surrounded by road and other buildings /... More

We found Footbridge Lobster the summer of 2010 and have returned every summer since. FL is a big part of why we return every year to Maine. The food is simply amazing. 5oz of lobster chilled on a New England styled hot dog bun. You choice of mayo or butter, chips or potatoe salad. It is a walk-up business in... More

This was my very first trip to Footbridge Lobster, and it did not disappoint! I got there early, started w/ a half order of steamers & drawn butter, then worked my way into a lobster roll.......I scored one of two chairs at the "counter" and had fun watching people line up, order, then walk away with a smile. The guys... More

A true lobster shack, no restaurant. As others have said, this is truly the best. They offer with mayo or butter or both - daredevils try both! Owner the real deal, lobsters out of Kittery. Will ship. Putting in a live cam so you can see them when they are out lobstering. Great!

We arrived in Ogunquit at 10am after a 7 hour drive absolutely starving. Footbridge Lobster was just what we needed to satisfy our appetites. My husband and I both ordered lobster rolls with butter. I cannot believe how much lobster meat there was! It took forever to reach the roll, which was exceptionally tasty as well. He ordered the potato... More

We tried this and the Lobster Shack to compare rolls and I have to say, I definitely preferred Footbridge Lobster. The roll was jam backed and just how I liked it. My only complaint is that I wish there was a sit down area to eat at.
