Wish there was a little more seating, but probably too much to ask for in downtown Ogunquit. Either way, they have some great option to go with some great coffee and a few vegan options as well. The raspberry twist was delicious, and it was even better when dunked in their vanilla brewed coffee.

Whenever we go to Ogunquit (3x year) we always have to go to Bread & Roses for a cookie, a bar, or a turnover. Consistently delicious.

What's good is delicious, but the bad stuff is not worth eating. Great bread and cookies and muffins, their cream cheese brownies lack actual cream cheese (they used to be the best there, but are not anymore), good coffee, and nice service. Convenient to pick up breakfast.

Have been to this bakery now almost a dozen times. Baked goods always delicious. Variety changes. Baristas very very good. I prefer this over the coffee place down in Perkins Cove as the drinks and baked goods are much better. I love this place.

We went with high expectations after our last visit when the pain au chocolat were outstanding, so we were very disappointed to get something that was overcooked and hard, although the chocolate filling was very nice. If they want to charge the prices they do they need to improve their quality. As others have commented the staff aren't very welcoming... More

I've lived in Maine for ten years and have had the good fortune of living the first two of those in Ogunquit. This bakery is top notch and only getting better. I don't know how the owner does it. She does have an impeccable reputation for quality ingredients and high high standards which I witnessed first hand watching ingredients being... More

If you are in Ogunquit, stop by this gem of a bakery for a delicious and reasonably priced treat! We sampled the date vegan bar and it surpassed our expectation so much that we returned the next day to take some home to a vegan friend of ours. We were also wowed by the lemon pound cake. This is a... More

Good pastry and baked goods but you'll pay a high price for it. However didn't seem as good the last time I went there. Also I ordered an expensive ghirardelli hot chocolate, (there gourmet hot chocolate with frothed milk). As I stood there the new girl asked," What do I do if we get low on the ghiradelli hot chocolate... More

Okay, we are all friends here, so I can admit to my extreme love of coffee....I am a slave to the bean! Bread and Roses Bakery has the best coffee in the State of Maine, and possibly the whole country! I go racing in first thing in the morning, and I (seriously) get aggravated if there is a long line!... More

The best pastries in town are clearly in this quaint shop, with something for everyone. Made fresh, on-site, and with the nicest staff you'll ever meet.
