This is a great little place that is easy to miss but definitely worth a visit. It's right near one end of the Marginal Way and is perfect if you're finishing your walk along the Way at that end and you are hungry for breakfast. The small dining room is comfortable and cozy and the staff is extremely friendly and... More

I had the Crab cake benedict, and Ann had an omelet. The nice thing for me about a benedict is having the yoke run with the hollandaise sauce, so really not a happy bunny when the yokes are over done and hard, and Ann's omelet was also slightly over cooked. We had eaten the day before, just up the road... More

Cove Café is absolutely adorable. That’s how we decided to eat here after seeing pictures of it. It’s a little place but worth it. This is where we had our first taste of Maine blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and they were delicious. The order also came with scrambled eggs. The 3 huge pancakes alone would have been enough. We... More

Although the food was average as far as breakfasts go, the cafe sits in the quaint Maine village of Perkin's Cove, an easy and very eye-pleasing walk south of the larger village of Ogunquit. The service was just fine, and the prices reasonable.

We eat breakfast at the Cove Cafe every single morning it is open. You cannot beat the food and the staff is excellent.

Last summer ate breakfast here and the lobster Benedict was to die for. Last weekend we returned hopeful for the same experience and were terribly disappointed. Hello chef - do you care about presentation or heating the dish up to something palatable? Won't be back here again. When spending $15 and up for a breakfast dish, it's GOT to be... More

It's ridiculously charming, super authentic, has cool old photos and do-dads on display, is very affordable, and the service was perfect. We tried the crab cakes and the blueberry pancakes. Both were terrific. If you don't love this place you're just not in the spirit. The quintessential New England breakfast place. I'd be so happy to have the Cove Cafe... More

After having read great reviews for the cove cafe, we decided to stop here when we ended up in Perkins Cove at breakfast time. This is quite a small place, there can't be more than a dozen tables, if that. The food was all good, not the most amazing meal we've ever had, but no complaints. We had pancakes, lobster... More
