Screeched a U-turn on Forest Avenue for a first visit and it did not disappoint. From Away's praise of the oyster po' boy (Read more: http://www.fromaway.com/reviews/po-boys-and-pickles#ixzz2SNv4ySLM) still fell short of it's perfection. And the pickles were divine.

They have spices in their pickles too. I love pickles, but these were close to the best I have had. People were friendy and food was made in a timely manner.

I keep looking for authentic oyster poor boy sandwiches, like you get out of those back kitchen windows in parts of New Orleans. This place does an excellent job, tasty oysters, and the right sauce. I'm fond of baguettes, but their bread is okay. My New Orleans friends who live in Bath think it is good too.

Love this place! Huge sandwiches, great sides and can't miss desserts! The atmosphere is blah, but with food like this...who cares!
