Living in Bass Harbor, Brandon and Lauras is our breakfast place. The raisin toast is superb. The service is good, the food is good and the fellow diners always interesting. There is no view and the decor is home kitchen 1955 but that is good- diners eat and leave, otherwise we would all be waiting in line! Eat and move... More

Brandon and Laura's is a great little diner/Restaurant located on Seal Cove Road, in Southwest Harbor. It is a place visited by locals. The reasons are obvious - the service is friendly and efficient, and the food is plentiful and well-made. The prices are fair. The place always has good specials posted for breakfast and lunch. The fried fresh clams... More

IF you want to get a real feel for the island, go to breakfast at Laura and Brandon's for breakfast. The locals all come in and sit at their favorite tables. Every morning there is a group of local men working out the problems of the world over a cup of coffee and a plate of bacon, eggs and home... More

Had the Lobster omelet special and it was great. They make fresh breads which were also great. I will be back again.

This cafe is in a small strip mall at the corner of Seal Cove Rd. and Rt 102, on the outskirts of SW Harbor, and hard to spot unless you are looking for it. It is open for breakfast and lunch. It has two dining rooms, and is open all year. Most of the cars and trucks in the parking... More

Even though I have reviewed B & L's before, I feel I have to give another shout out......The food, the service, the prices, and the people (Brandon, Laura, Brittany et all) continue to provide the best lunch and breakfast experience that I have ever had....whether it be home in Delaware or here, at our summer home, in Southwest.....In doesn't matter... If you come here with a negative attitude or expecting lace table cloths of course your going to be disappointed. It is a small family run place. The food is homemade. The prices are very reasonable, that is one of the reasons the locals go there. Our family has vacationed in Southwest Harbor for the entire month of July for the... More

Stopped in here for a quick breakfast. Heard this was a place where locals go so I expected an authentic Downeast Maine experience. Well, certainly had so locals there, but not the experience I was expected. I really felt like an outsider who intruding on someone else's family dinner. It was quite uncomfortable. Almost felt like i was stared at... More

We have breakfast at Brandon and Laura's Cafe quite often. Everything is always fresh, the home fries are about the best around. There is a choice of homemade breads, and the Anadama is exceptionally good. It makes excellent French Toast. The blueberry pancakes are large, rich and filling, if a big too thick now and then. The service is very,... More
