The restaurant is informal, but pleasant. As you enter the place, you will see many humorous signs posted on the wall. The Chicken Marsala was excellent - the Marsala sauce phenomenal. This is a nice place. The food was very good and the wait staff bent over backwards to accomodate us. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Friendly, attentive, sense of humor all tied up with superb food. An excellent dining experience from the beginning to the end. Added treat: fresh wild ME blueberry daiquiri.

I've had dinner here ten times since June, and with all of the restaurants on Mount Desert available in the summer, this should tell you something. Outstanding Italian and Seafood, always seated without reservations (although they do take reservations), quick service, large group no problem. Lobster Newburg out of this world!

Out of five days visiting Mount Desert, we ate there three, only missing the other two for family functions.
