This is my favorite restaurant in Wells. My family and I look forward to going here every year. I enjoy the two pounds of lazy lobster in a boat of butter. Tastes very fresh and hits the spot every time! Two thumbs up!

On our annual pilgrimage to Maine we must go to Lord's. To see the same familiar faces over all the years...says something...Great views of the coast /harbor /inlet...Selections are something for everyone. The servers are so great, remember us from years past, where we are from, etc. THIS is Maine hospitality. With the owners on site at the front of...

Reviewers of Lord's often criticize the clam chowder, but if you're a "real Mainer", they make it the way it should be - whole clams in a milky broth. Absolutely delicious - you can taste the clam broth, the clams are tender, and the butter is real. We have been going to this restaurant for many, many years, and it...

Heading south on our way out of Maine, there was one last meal opportunity and we chose Lord's for lunch Location on the water was the reason for our choice on this trip, but the great food and excellent service will be the reason we go back!
Lobster tails were out of this world good. Waitress was so friendly and...

I usually eat at Lord's at least once on each trip, and this time I again had the lobster pie, an amazingly decadent casserole of lobster meat with shrimp and crab stuffing, along with the cottage cheese and pear side. The pineapple cole slaw is also very nice. The baked stuffed haddock is another favorite of mine. The service has...

Stopped at Lord's by suggestion of family. Fantastic lunch! Their seafood chowder was the best I have had. Can't wait to go back and try more items. Prices very reasonable and portions are large!
Went to dinner at Lords Oct 17th, called to see if we needed reservations for 5:30, found that they do not take them, first come first served. Restaurant was half full when we arrived at that time. Still light enough to enjoy looking out at the harbor. We had spoken to some folks from NH earlier that afternoon who had...

Fun environment, family friendly. Little overpriced if you're on a budget. Lobster good but baked fish was dry and cold. Stick with a lobster :)
This is our second dinner we have had within the last two years of visiting Wells. The service was great along with the menu. So much to choose from. I had the broiled Haddock which was cooked perfectly. My guest had the fish and chips. The place was about half full of patrons when we arrived at 5 p.m. when...

We went there twice during a three day stay in the area. That should tell you something! The seafood was great - loved the "Three tail lobster plate"!! And my husband devoured the "Finn and Haddie" from his father's days. Don't often, if ever, see that on the menu anywhere. The waitstaff service was cheery, warm and attentive. It can...
