Had the Meatloaf special of the day. Large portion reasonably priced. We have been there many times, always with a good experience.
We stopped for lunch on Wednesday, May 15th at about noon. We were seated and found the staff to be exceptional; very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We ordered the cold lobster roll and completely enjoyed it. The bun was overflowing with lobster and you actually tasted lobster, not gobs of mayo. The lobster was very tender and moist; just perfect....

My wife and I and some friends visited the Maine Diner for dinner.
We ordered four seafood dinners and shared. The seafood chowder, lobster pie, lobster roll and stuffed shrimp. Every one of them was outstanding. If you visit the diner you must try the seafood chowder. It was filled with fresh seafood , the taste was amazing.

A friend and I both had the Lobster Roll....you had to start with a fork, there was so much lobster, and it wasn't swimming in mayo either. Our server was patient and friendly......we were busy chatting and couldn't make up our minds. They were not all that busy (it was a Monday, and not 'lunch' time. We were able to sit...

OK - we were told we HAD to stop here for their blueberry muffins. We tried. They were sold out for the day; apparently they don't last much past breakfast and this was mid-afternoon snack time. So we tried the corn muffins with honey butter. I had a cup of "she crab soup" with mine. The muffins were soft, moist...

I had the Eddie Andelman ( macaroni and cheese with hot dogs). Doesn't sound like much but it was good. We also had corn...

We try to stop here whenever in Maine. Great breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is small so if you go during busy tourist season plan on a wait. They have lots of seafood choices for all three meals.
One of my favorite breakfast, choices is almond crusted French toast, you need to ask for the real maple syrup, well worth...

Hands down the best diner I've ever been to. I come up here frequently with my family and each time I am never disappointed in my meal. No matter breakfast or lunch, I guarantee you'll try something good. Considering it is Maine, anything blueberry flavored tastes fresh and delicious. The blueberry pancakes and pie are outstanding. For lunch, try the...

We visited the Maine Diner in August 2012. Even though our party of 6 waited 50 minutes, it was definitely worth it. The lobster roll and lobster pie were excellent. Even the hot dogs and mac n cheese were great! I enjoyed the Indian Pudding with vanilla ice cream (even though the kids didn't like how it looked). Try to...
