A recently updated menu is more appealing to me than the prior choices. Specials are always interesting, portions are good and presentation is nice as well. Can get a bit noisy, lots of friendly people when it crowded. Don't get turned off because it's behind the Subway.......No connecting stations here.

We recently had a work event in Chestertown, and Uncle Charlies Bistro was a huge hit. The owner, Chuck, was incredible... so accomodating and friendly. The food was phenomenal. The steamed shrimp was huge and incredibly fresh, and the crabe cakes were perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back to Uncle Charlies next year!

We just stopped in for a quick burger before a concert. Good food and service. The restaurant was moderately busy, yet they got us out in time. The other patrons seemed to be having a good time. The dishes going by our table for other diners looked great. We will go back soon.

Good food. Fried oysters were to doe for. Husband loved the Maryland crab soup. Had a very varied and appetizing menu. We were there in Feb and were begining to think we would never find a pub. Great find!

We found this restaurant on Urbanspoon....but with the wrong address. Do not go to 805 High Street...the actual address is 834 High Street..and it's behind the Subway. Too bad! You might miss it. Table for 8, efficient wait staff and good food. Appetizer of crab mac and cheese was enough for an entree, crab ravioli was very good, burgers and ribs both met our satisfaction quotient. An informal and very pleasant dinner.
