Meiwah's food is quickly served for in restaurant dining or for take-out, and yet is fresh, tasty, and consistently good. And the check always brings a smile to my face.
After a string of good meals at Meiwah, we ordered some food for pick-up -- and it was terrible. Months later, we dared to return, and all was fine. There's confusion among the wait-staff: you might be approached more than once by different servers who don't realize someone has already approached you. Big menu, usually worthy, but appetizers (recently, spring...

We found this restaurant to serve better food than our local Chinese offerings (NYC); the food was excellently spiced, and not oily. The Tofu and Vegetables was delectable (subtle taste of ginger in the sauce), and the dumpling casings were thin, and fried perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by the Chinese food being so good. I don't think the other menu items (Japanese and other) are good, but the Chinese was good. Solid flavors.

The service was so horribly slow that we were forced to occupy...

Located close to my office, so we end up eating here at least 4 times a month. I prefer getting carry out because the service can be pretty bad sometimes, one of my co-workers has a nasty nickname for one of the worst waitresses. The food is usually good to very good.
Prices do keep going up as I have...

Some of the food can be excellent, but the noise level and the variability of the food detracts from what should be a much better Chinese restaurant. However, it is the best in the neighbohood.
