I was pleasantly surprised by the Chinese food being so good. I don't think the other menu items (Japanese and other) are good, but the Chinese was good. Solid flavors.

Like most Chinese restaurants in this area, Meiwah--an offshoot of the DC original--has little that's unfamiliar on it's menu. Some of the food can be excellent, but the noise level and the variability of the food detracts from what should be a much better Chinese restaurant. However, it is the best in the neighbohood.
