We went on 1/2 price burger night which is on Sunday. Burgers were good and the service was excellent.

Very inviting place. A home away from home. Food is always willing to make it up within reason. I noticed a review where a gentleman complained of his girlfriends undercooked hamburger.He should have highlighted the fact that the restaurant took it off his bill. How many restaurants are willing to do thi! As I say always willing to please.

Hands down - after visiting many different establishments - I believe Bill Bateman's has the BEST CRAB CAKE in MARYLAND! I've gotten the same meal at different "Bateman's" locations, and it is consistently made well, with lump crab meat as the star of the show! Try it out for yourself!

I've eaten at Bateman's on several occasions. I have yet to be disappointed. The food is very good and plentiful. The fried pickles are the best. And you won't go broke if you eat there.

Stopped in on a Saturday night recently while in town for the weekend to attend a wedding. My girlfriend's burger (ordered medium rare) had to be sent back TWICE because it was literally raw in the center. It still came out undercooked, so she just picked at the few morsels that were edible. At least the waitress took it off... More
