After seeing all of the great reviews, I decided to try the Cactus Taverna. I wasn't sure from reading the reviews whether the restaurant was Mediterranean or Mexican, but I thought both sounded good, so I would give it a try. I had read that the menu was "eclectic", but it was far from eclectic.. it was random. A large... More

We were on way home to Delaware from the airport, had read good restaurant reviews in Trip Advisor and decided to give it a shot. We were not disappointed. Wait staff friendly and competent, eclectic menu and decor, food excellent, owner came out at end of meal and charmed us. Creme brulee best we've had. There is a reason Cactus... More

Had a nice weeknight dinner at Cactus Taverna. Dinner does start with Chips and Salsa and they do offer Sangria, but the menu leans towards Mediterranean. My colleague had the Grouper and I went with the Paella. Both offered good sized portions and were tasty. The servers were a notch above most restaurants. They work as a team cleaning up... More

Went here last night with my boyfriend, it happened to be national Margarita day, but they had no specials, my lime Margarita with no salt, came with lots of salt and very light on the tequila for $6. Combo fajitas tasted more like beef and broccoli then anything Mexican. Server was pretty good, service was nothing special. Will not be... More

This was my 5th time in this restaurant. Food quality and taste is exceptional. Also the service is some of the most attentive but not intrusive you will see.

Very Interesting Restaurant. I thought it was Mexican, but the menu said Mediterranean. They were playing Indian belly dancing music. They had a special Wine Menu. Overall, not bad. I got steak and chicken fajitas. They did not put much meat , but the quality of the meat was very good. I would definitely go back.

Best food and service in Salisbury MD. The fish dishes are wonderful. The salsa is fresh made and tangy. The humus and goat cheese appetizer is great. The owner always greats you in person and is not afraid to ask 'how was your meal?'. We have been eating here for the last 10 years and will be going back again.

I have been in salisbury for 5 months now and decent homemade food or fine dining is very thin. A place full of restaurant chains fueled as boring sports bars and plenty of the major fast food chains. When i first came i asked around for where to get a good lunch or dinner and was told anything decent is... More

Restaurants in strip malls don't always get the best reputation. But cactus taverna is a diamond in the rough!! The atmosphere is amazing with the perfect balance and ambiance. Normally on the weekends there is live music as well. The menu is very unique and satisfying with great seafood, Mexican and meat options as well as alligator if you dare!... More

I just came back for the CT. Great service, good wine list and great food. I had the coconut shrimp appetizer. It had 5 large shrimp and a good jalapeno raspberry sauce. I personally like it hotter. Next time and there will be next time, I will as the owner (who visits the tables often) to make it hotter. I... More
