Amazing food and great atmosphere....highly recommended!
Del Mar was a great find. We were going to try the Impudent Oyster, but there was too long of a wait. Plus, when I looked online for reviews, it seemed this place had better ratings. While the wait for a table was a little long (about an hour vs. the 30 minutes we were quoted by the hostess), the... More
This was the fourth time my husband and I ate at Del Mar, and it just gets better all the time. It was middle of the week, and off-season, but the place was still full. Del Mar does not take reservations for parties of fewer than 6, but if you call before you come, they will let you know if... More
This dining spot just outside the village of Chatham has been improving its food each year, and it started out as a very good restaurant. It has a very good mix of unique dishes for adults as well as solid choices for kids. We have often had large groups come for dinner here under their summer tent section. It's fairly... More
We had appetizers while the kids shared a pizza. There was live music and the place had a buzz about it. It was enjoyable, not excellent, but enjoyable. I'd say it's a little overpriced for what it is, but what isn't in Chatham?
A rocking busy night in August but it was good. My kids were able to have brick oven pizza while my husband and I had tasty fish dishes. Our service was prompt and pleasant. My swordfish & arugula salad was a little fussy but was generous with fish. I do recall having a chocolate mud cake for dessert which was... More
While the prices were higher than your typical Cape Cod range, the food made it well worth it! The choices were interesting, and the flavors were outstanding!!!!! Although it was more upscale, we were comfortable bringing our 2 small children. Best dinner we had on our vacation!
This is the second time I have had a bad meal here so I'm giving up on this place even though I like the ambiance. The cod was sitting in a pool of water and the side vegetables were just awful. The pasta my friend got looked equally bland. Last time around I got the duck....stay away from that too!!!... More
Wary of the Cape's dining options of clam shack and splurge, we took a chance on Del Mar and I'm glad that we did. The service was attentive, the menu interesting (loved the Lobster in a an Asian preparation) and the food was excellent. It has a hip vibe while being accessible for families. Recommended.
Great service w/ call ahead seating. Efficient, friendly service shortened the wait for seating. Plenty of parking.
