Not your usual fried fish shack and worth the stop for a true "Olde Cape Cod feel". Covered outside seating and a lot of take out. Seafood is fresh, fresh, delicious and cooked to perfection. They even have a broiled selection. All meals are ample in size and some of them are definitely sharing size, especially the fisherman's platter.

On 9/06/12 we had dinner at The Friendly Fisherman. My wife and I shared one of their (Rachel Ray) rated Lobster Rolls. It was good. We both had their Baked Fish Dinner. It had good portion of Cod, with Rice Pilaf and Coleslaw. The dinner was great – I don’t care for Rice Pilaf – but this was very good.... More

Stopped here per a recomendation from Rachel Ray.....it was ok, but nothing special. The New England Clam chowder, i had expected to be better (being as how thats what Rachel Ray was ranting about), but I found the chowder to be very bland. The clam strips were ok, but those are kind of hard to screw up. Over all, this... More

An old shack on the side of the road with large portions and good food. I thought it was very expensive! My wife like it as did my daughter! Myself it was average.

We ate here twice this week. Seafood is great! Very good, laid back place for families with high quality seafood. Not sure what the big deal is with the other establishment down the street with lines out to the parking lot. Friendly Fisherman's food is just as good, if not better! It's kind of hidden off the road, so you... More

Great food - fresh, fresh fish, friendly staff, good prices? My family eat here twice in a week. The athmosphere is good, food is good and i would recommend this place in North Eastham.

We've been vacationing in Eastham for the past 8 years or so. About 7 years ago I read in the local Cape paper someone saying this was the best place for a lobster roll on the Cape. I'm very happy to have been reading the paper that day. We love lobster rolls and we love the Friendly Fisherman. We go... More

This place is kind of tucked in and you tend to just pass it and not even give it a thought. We went there this year and it was great. We had great whole belly clams. The atmosphere is great. Tiki torches, all fenced in with picnic tables and a big tent and little playground for kids. You have to... More

There is a reason why Arnold's had a line and Friendly fisherman didn't. I ordered a Large fried Shrimp $17 and there were about maybe 10? in a 4 inch container. It did not come with any sides, no fries not even a container of coleslaw. Just a thumb sized container of seafood sauce. I couldn't believe it so I... More

I wait every year to go to the Friendly fisherman!! The best and freshest seafood...comparible if not better than nicks at Arnold's. Michael Demitri's family has done a fantastic job of keeping Michael's legacy of freshness and portions above and beyond. I will continue to go here for the summer treat of the best seafood in town if not the... More
