Not exactly a dive bar but this is where a local told me he ordered fish and chips. It was excellent. Large pieces of fresh Haddock and chips cooked crisp and perfect. The Tartar Sauce was to die for; order some extra to eat with your fries.

Great dining room withmfire and live music on friday night. We went with two small children and our server was terrific in suggestions and timing things for the kids. Good options for draft beers. I had the BLTP and it was surprisingly delish... The fish and chips were awesome too. Casual place.

Tasty chowder, nice atmosphere, and good selection of local beer in a historic building that feels right out of York or London.

Back to the Vineyard for our winter visit, and all we could think of was Fish and Chips at the Newes!! Guinness on tap was a pleasant surprise. Meal was a big portion of fish and French Fries- fireplace was warming to our bodies and spirits!! Can't wait to come back!!

Visited this spot last weekend, cozy atmosphere though I wish fireplace had been lit. Calamari appetizer was very good and my husband and I both had the onion soup which was cheesy and good. Little disappointed with my Bloody Mary seemed watered down and like bar mix.
