I guess I prefer this or Framingham Beer works out of all the pub restaurants in the area. The foods fine and the ambiance is fine and the service is a solid fine as well.
I've been to my share of brew pubs and they are usually unremarkable. This John Harvard's is tucked away in the corner of a strip mall at Shopper's World. Some business colleagues and I headed there for an early dinner. We were seated immediately and our service was good. They had a good beer selection – I had the Oktoberfest... More
When we first arrived we were greeted by a hostess who could care less & didn't seem to want to be at work that day. We decided to sit at the bar since the hostess sat us in the back of the dining area. The bartender, Mike, was just great & made the day for us. The beers were good... More
Menu was standard pub fair and a large variety of beers. Wife and I tried to eat a little lighter for dinner. I had the Aztec salad- greens, corn, tomatoes, chips with a cilantro lime dressing- had no taste. Wife had the lentil, hummus, greens with a basil vinaigrette dressing- again no taste. Both were missing something in the dressing. Inside also looked... More
Great lunch selections from something lite like a salad to heavier options like meatloaf. I enjoyed one of their fabulous burgers and a beer. The burger was cooked to my request and the service was professional and prompt. I would love to go back for dinner!
The beers are good, not the best in town, but still they are good, the food is just Ok. But the place and service are nice. It should not be your fisrt choice for dinner, but if you want to watch a game a grab a beer is ok
After a shoppin in the Mall my wife and I went there for lunch. We frequent this restaurants for years and are never disappointed. My wife had a nice veggie burger and I ordered roast beef sandwich with large portion of fries. As always we had also a sampler of their own beers. Great! The bill was much lower, than... More
We hadn't been there in few years. We got a flyer with coupons in the mail so we went. Incredibly tired place, all the furniture has paint worn off down to the wood. The carpet must be 30+ years old. The waiter brought bread and a bottle of some kind of oil and put his thumb over the opening when... More
We went at 6:30 on a Wednesday there was no line walked right up and got a large booth in the restaurant side. Waitress was very good got to us quickly, took our orders, made great recommendations on both beer and food. We had burgers although they were very good they are a little higher priced than what I would... More
