After our whale watch, we had dinner at Passports. This restaurant had been recommended by our Bed and Breakfast proprietor as well as a member of the wait staff where we had some lunch. Both were indeed right - a great menu, great service and a great meal.

You know you are in good hands when the locals eat there. Passports was absolutely delicious dining, I had seafood and it was wonderful. We were staying in Rockport, took the train to Salem and ended up dining in Glouster, all close to each other. Glouster has a taxi company and it was easy to get a cab home. Definitely... More

Do not be fooled by the uncontemporary exterior; Simply the best food I have tasted and i was pleasantly surprised. The bread served was warm and similar to a yorkshire pudding, The wild mushroom torte is one of the best dishes I have ever tasted, rich in flavour and light in texture and generous in size. The pasta was so... More

It was my husband's birthday and our son joined us for dinner at Passport in Gloucester. Our appetizer was smoked trout with lovely garnishes. For dinner I ordered the Sister's Haddock and my mouth is watering right now as I write this review. Haddock? You say. How can it be the BEST. It was super fresh, crusty on the outside,... More

Gloucester certainly has its eateries...but Passports is still one of the most reliable and a locals favorite. Dine while watching Main St activity and be served yummy food and drinks that are a reasonable price.

Moderately priced bistro with small bar in downtown Gloucester. Beer & wine only, and a sedate, mature clientele. Generous portions. Our go-to spot for dinner more often than not.

We went to this restaurant at the suggestion of our B&B innkeepers. We had lunch there and had pulled pork sandwiches and salad. Nice menu selection and difficult to pick with so many delicious options. The servings were very generous. Great value. Great service. Good for a casual meal. Not a fancy place but great food at the right price.

We ate here after checking with Trip Advisor and especially reading what msmunich01930 had to say. This restaurant was full at 5:30 PM on a rainy Friday so it must be well known. We are birders and the birding blogs also recommended this place. The fish dishes on the menu were extensive and I had trouble making a decision because... More

Many trips here. Our happiness depends on what we order!! Take your time with the menu. It is "original" or maybe even quirky at times. The decor is pretty bad, and the service isn't warm bit it is very efficient. The popovers are awesome and with a fish stew, cioppino or chowder make a great meal. I don't order sandwiches... More

Passports offers creative and original versions of local fresh fish and produce. Its decor could use some improvement, but the food is always delicious. A little treat is the fresh from the oven popovers served before every entree. I eat here whenever I am in Gloucester.
