If you are looking for Indian in the Newburyport area, this is the place to go!! We eat here often and have never been disappointed. We love it for both eat in as well as take out. We also choose it for "dinner for two" nights as well as "family meals". Our children love it as much as we do.... More

the food was very good, and the service even better! i went with my family (husband, daughter, and 3 1/2year old grandson) and the waitstaff could not be better suited for families. we went earlier then dinner as we wanted to avoid a crowd, and were very pleasantly seated, and taken care of. just a nice clean family friendly place.... This place is a little odd. I got there via my GPS which brought me to a street that has a sign pointing to the rear of a building. Actually access (and more importantly their off street parking) are gained by some other entry to the rear of the building where it is located and I was unable to divine... More

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Service is what you have come to expect from Indian restaurants slightly off beat but polite My dishes were very good indeed although I wish they would go easy on the onions. Nan breads were excellent. Worth going again.

Good food, great help, and price right. It is difficult to locate a reasonable price Indian Rest. We were very pleased. There were three in our party --2 adults and a 16 year old. Everyone left with a full tummy and satisfied. Then we spent a pleasant walk around Newburyport for the evening. We felt like we were on vacation... More

This is quality North Indian cuisine. The quality of the food with the service make the visit worthwhile, though there are better Indian restaurants in Boston, this is the best I have found to the North of Beverly

We got all kinds of roti - Garlic naan, paratha, plain roti. All were superb. My husband ordered plain lassi and that was out of this world. With mint and ginger in it. The curries are tasty too and lot of vegetarian choices. The ambience is good and it feels like you are eating in a old indian house.
