Roobar is in an old Mill building. This gives it more character than most restaurants. The ceilings are ridiculously high. The main dining room is very large. We sat by the window and the room felt very comfy not cavernous at all. The food was very fresh. I ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta. I wish it was offered in... More

Roo Bar is a great, informal restaurant for a pizza and beer or a three course dinner...all reasonably priced. Restaurant is located in an old mill...very rustic, towering windows, open ceilings, brick walls and wooden floors Food has always been fresh, delicious, and nicely presented. Service is prompt, courteous, and friendly. Can't beat the dinner specials for $21.95...soup or salad, entree,... More

The pizza at Roobar is very tasty. The thin crust makes you not feel so guilty for eating a whole pizza by yourself!!

Ok, if you don't mind spending top dollar. There are better places that serve better and MORE food for the $$$$.

I've visited this restaurant many times before but this time decided just to have appetizers...wedge salad (can't mess that up) and shrimp tempura...both did not disappoint. I think I will take this approach in the future.

We live on the So. Shore, love Plymouth, and enjoy a great meal. I tend to be more critical of the service when we visit a restaurant, as I was in the restaurant business for a few years, my husband however, likes a good hot meal. The atmosphere at Roobar is a great mix of old brick and white table... More

Love this place. My wife and I have been going to Roobar for years and also getting takeout. It's a very eclectic space, highlighted by the wood ceilings. It's got a nice separate bar area that's equally cool. Our menu highlights include the fried calamari (the peppers aren't fried - thank you!), spinach salad and fried eggplant pizza. The pastas... Can't beat their $21.95 special which included appetizer, dinner and dessert. Casual place, but also a nice venue for a special dinner or party.

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at Roobar last Wednesday evening. Very pleasant and tenative waitress, nice breads and olive oil for dipping to start your dining expereince. Cozy atmosphere, we usually sit on the bar side. Updated decor in the Cortage Rope factory. Never had a bad meal here with leftovers to bring home. Great menu options... More

This place is good. They are located way off the street so parking is a breeze. They have 2 bar areas - one is a pizza bar and the other is a regular bar area. They also have 2 sides of the restaurant, so you can eat on whatever side you prefer. The food is good, not the best I've... More
