Ricotta pie is fabulous. Authentic dishes - very good. Everything made on-site. Bring cash - no credit cards. Pleasant staff.
the most wonderful little bakery i've been to for excellent authentic italian goodies. the meatball sandwich is the best i've ever tasted. a place definately worth visiting when in plymouth!! there is one little bench outside to sit on while enjoying your treats as recorded italian music plays which is very charming, otherwise it's carry out.
This bakery is the real deal. Everything is made from scratch. The breads, pastries and cakes are delicious. It reminds me of the North End. The cannolis have wonderful orange flavor and do not rely on extra sugar to taste good. Try the meatball sandwich. It is the best I have ever had and comes with a mini cannoli!
Yummy fresh canoli, wedding cookies and other great looking pastries.
Pastries are very good. The gelato is good too. Worth a stop for the essentials a good bakery can provide.
This owner bakes more like an Irish woman - dry bland cakes and non tasty deserts and she is not the friendliest person you are ever going to meet either - have made the mistake going there twice - skip it.
What a treasure in downtown Plymouth, tucked away in part of what was long ago a clothing store on Main St. Everything is cooked or baked on the premises -- from wonderful desserts and breads to that marinara sauce. The prices are fair. The South Shore is richer for the bakery/Italian goods shop. One note: It is takeout only.
