You do not get chips in salsa here, do not go into it with that attitude. This cuisine has a real traditional flare to it. The sangria is solid and the food is exceptional. A true gem that should get more traffic than it does.

Everything we tried was good and much of it we'd never had before. They have a very interesting menu. Have been here a couple times in the past year & am looking forward to going again.
This isn't like most Mexican places, it seems you can get cuisine here that's more like what you might find in Mexico. Definitely worth trying out, if only for the uniqueness of it (and the food is good!).
Great service even if we arrived late in the night. Food is consistently good over the years, authentic and delicious!
I went for brunch with my 2 children, we each got the "steak" and eggs. The steak was nothing more than a thin piece of shoe leather. It was tough and tasteless. I used to travel to mexico for work, and I have to say I was very impressed with how much the food at Tu y Yo brought me back there. The Mole Colorado, and the Carnitas were great! Highly recommend checking this place out!
Do you want authentic, delicious Mexican food? Look no further than Tu y Yo!! The tinga is always excellent, as are the carnitas. The beans are unbelievably delicious. The tortillas are not house-made, but they are locally made and are delicious. I love getting a couple of orders of sope to start, always a crowd-pleaser. There are a couple of...

This very pleasant, out of the way restaurant is worth a try. Service is great, the menu is varied, the food is delicious and it's not too expensive!
"Diners were polarized in rating for this "homey" Mexican, with "friendly service; but agreed that "tables with a steel column in the middle" were "kinda small;" and the apps were mostly "delicious" (the sope) and "spicey and good" (the Mexican sausage), the main courses didn't meet our "[high] expectations," other than the "sublime chiles rellenos."

Before I moved away, I would come to this place as often as I could. This place is really a local gem, with a unique menu and atmosphere you can't find many places, especially around Boston. The food is excellent, and truly Mexican; it's not your typical burritos and tacos type of place. They have a lot of Traditional (like...
